Website ] Guild Charter
Runs with Scissors strives to help its members,
allies, and other Dark Age of Camelot players through the use of each characters class
abilities and tradeskills. We aim to show a positive image amongst all guilds, and a place
for all members to feel welcome and at home, whether roleplaying, soloing, or looking for
groupmates to adventure with. Guild Code of Conduct
Runs with Scissors, from herein referred to as,
"the guild", has laid upon itself, as it's bylaws, and standards of
operation, the following codes of conduct. The code of conduct, referred to herein as
"the code", shall be adhered to by all guild members, regardless of rank.
The code may be modified by a majority vote of it's members present at the specified guild
meeting place.
Guild Meetings
The guild shall meet in a specified time and place as set
by the guild officers. The meeting shall be announced on the guilds events calendar. Those
that do not attend the meeting, or are late for the guild meeting and any matters discussed
or voted on, shall relinquish their rights in said discussions. Members attending
meetings MUST have the "DARK AGE OF CAMELOT: FOUNDATIONS" expansion
pack installed as meetings will be held at the guild house, unless otherwise
stated. Guild Voting
Voting shall take place during meetings or on the website
in the members-only area. Voting shall consist of all present members, with no less than
five (5) members present. Voting shall determine revisions to any guild policy and set
forth changes to any other aspect of the guild. Voting may also be used in determining the
promoting or demoting of guild members and/or ranks. Guild Bank
The guild bank shall consist of one members character
acting as the guild treasurer IN ADDITION TO the guild bank established by Mythic
which can only be added to by the enabling of guild member dues. RwS does, in fact, have the
guild dues enabled, taking 2% of all loot coin. The treasurer shall be accountable for all
monies received from guild members. The treasurer shall announce at each meeting, the count
of the guild bank, and any transactions taken place since the last meeting. The treasurer
is responsible for all missing monies, and must relinquish their position should a vote be
cast to do so. Guild monies shall be used for guild only purposes. Members may not borrow
against the guild bank unless all officers agree to allow it. Guild Colors
Currently, there are no specific guild colors. We have
strived to make the guild cape and emblem as neutral as possible in order to allow any color
combination on armor. Member Concerns
and Issues
The Guildmasters are VERY interested in hearing what our
members have to say, but at times can be very busy with guild and alliance matters. That
being said, they have entrusted the leadership team to handle any issues before they are
brought directly to them. You can do a "/gc who", or use the Social window, to find out
which officers are online at any given time. Officers are told to never be /anon, so they
should show up at all times. Officers are to be respected the way you would a
Guildmaster, and their resolutions are to be honored as if it came directly from a
Guildmaster. If the parties involved in a problem are unhappy with the resolution of said
problem by an Officer, they may appeal to another officer. If the involved parties are
still unhappy with the resolution, they may then appeal to directly to a Guildmaster.
While the appeal process is going on, said parties will honor the Officers resolution
until the final decision has been made by a Guildmaster. The best way for you to have a guildmaster or officer see
and hear you, is to post on the website. They can't always be in the game, especially since
they are usually at work, or living their every day normal lives outside of the game. The
officers are required to read the website every day, sometimes, on their own accord, read
it multiple times a day. Guild Website
All members are requested to check the website a minimum
of once every two weeks. Checking of the website means you read any new news posts, vote on
any open polls in the Polls Forums, and check the Event Calendar section. You are not
required to read the forums if you choose not to do so. It usually takes most people less
than two minutes to do those three things, we don't feel that two minutes once every two
weeks is too much to give to the guild. If a member has not checked the website within 90
days they may be removed from having access to the Members Only sections, and may be removed
from the guild. The forums here on the website are divided into many different categories and there are descriptions of each forum below the title. All discussions involving guild policy (whether you disagree or agree) are to be done on the website not in alliance or guild chat. The only exception is during guild meetings, and guild meetings will take place by an invite only chat group, not in guild chat. |
