For anyone looking to find our picture gallery (archive), please accept our apologies for needing to take it down. Due to spamming our picture gallery comments, and the fact that the guild is not active in DAoC right now, we have opted to disable it for the moment. Nothing has been lost, but merely stopped.

New Login Poll

As noted in Mythic\'s news below, there\'s a new login poll. I would suggest, just since it is in so many games, an in-game mail service over any other voice chat services.

Just my opinion, but please do vote, and don\'t mark \"I don\'t care\" :-| It doesn\'t help things when Mythic receives that answer more than any other.

A few updates were done to the website\'s XML feeds long ago, which I just got around to fixing.

Mythic removed the \"Inactive\" status from the XML feeds, replacing it with \"3_Months\" making all users show up on our Member Roster. I\'ve made the changes, and now, if you\'re character has not been touched in 3 months or so, that character will show up under the inactive list. This will clean up the roster a bit, showing who is really playing, and who hasn\'t been online in awhile. Also, the \"/anon\" flag is back on, so anonymous users will show up on the roster, just italicized.

The forums have had the Events Calendar re-added, I don\'t know what took me so long to fix it :( Sorry about that!

If you\'re a new member, or prospective member of RWS, please post an intro in the Guild Recruiting forum so we know to add you to the members group, and give you access to the rest of the forums visible to our members and allies only!

New Pic Gallery & Random Pic

As you may notice by glancing to the right, there\'s a new \"Random Pic\" displayed on our website... this is due to the upgrade done today to the picture gallery.

What better way to make use of the random pic, than upload more screenshots? Don\'t worry about resizing them... upload them as they are using our Pic Uploader, and they\'ll be added within a few days for everyone to see!

So get those guild & alliance group pictures posted! What are you waiting for?

The website moved from \"www.\" to \"daoc.\", something I had many moons ago. Well, with the constant back and forth between games, the influx or deflux of members, etc etc. I decided to revert, once and for all, so that each RWS gaming guild could remain seperate.

Thus, DAoC\'s forums also have seen an update, or rather, a switch back to phpBB from our SMF forums. However, we couldn\'t salvage the old forums and convert, therefor members will have to reregister and wait for me to add you to your appropriate ranks/groups.

I am happy to say that this will be the last time I do something along this lines. I may update the RWS website style or something, but no more changing addresses or forums, or ... whatever. Done. Kaput.

After some long time deliberation I feel it\'s due time to give RwS\' site a facelift. The current site is roughly two years old, and I feel, showing it\'s age. I will not be making it \"flashy\" with lots of bells and whistles, as my goal with the update will remain the same: use of use and user-friendly.

The design will be similar to that of the template design I am using with our RwS\' sister guild in WoW, wow.runs-with-scissors.com. Feel free to post a msg in the forums on your opinions.

Now on to more productive things, like looking up the log entries, and reporting the spam attempts to the owner of the IP and the Fed\'s...

You're looking at the NEW website on the newer hosting provider. Things ARE broken, like the forums and whatnot. The website may be broken for a good part of the day, so stay tuned here for updates as I get things done :)

PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Log on all your alts, AND add your alts to the Character List forums on our website! I will be "cleaning house" of all inactive toons that are not known and listed on the Character Lists. Even I, myself, had not listed 3-4 alts... I\'m sure some of our members with 2-3 accounts may find some unlisted alts, or no list added at all ;)

This will help our guild not appear so dead, and help us to see just how many are really here, but unplayed alts of existing active members.

We are also looking into touching base with another alliance, so feel free to group with members of the Generic Guild Alliance and get to know them...

Mythic Announces New DAoC Expansion

Yep, another expansion, this one is named \"Darkness Rising\" and will add \"Champion Levels\", \"Personal Mounts\" (customizable horses w/ saddlebags for more storage), and updated graphics and quests for Darkness Falls.

Last night at E3, Mythic Entertainment revealed a partnership with Games Workshop to put an MMORPG based on Warhammer. Yep, ya heard right. Warhammer. So all you Warhammer collecters, Mythic\'s looking to make an MMORPG out of it, and according to Mark Jacobs, Mythic CEO, \"Our goal for this first of what we hope will be many Warhammer-based games is to create the single-greatest RvR-based MMORPGs in the industry\". And there you have it...

Don\'t forget that the events calendar is now tied to the forums! Typically I ask that events being posted to the events calendar contain in the beginning of their subject line \"RWS:\" for guild events, and \"PB:\" or \"Alliance Event:\" for alliance events. Click the \"Calendar\" button in the forums to see all the events for the month! See ya there!

Hey folks, just a reminder to signup on the Alliance Website and peruse the forums and Rallies calendar there! IF you sign up, and LOG IN, hehehe, you will see the alliance events calendar and more forums to peruse that also include more events. The alliance is suffering from lack of turnout at events, so show your support... RWS is in the alliance to have fun and help with events, this goes for RWS members, not just the officers!!

Click the link on the left side that says Peacebringers, and signup for GuildPortal AND apply to be a member of the Peacebringers alliance! Then I will add you to the list, yes I do help with the alliance website too, and you can see even more fun events, forum chatter, etc :)

Mythic's newest expansion for Dark Age of Camelot is out! Catacombs introduces many graphics changes, though not as many as some would like. With those changes are character model updates, and a fresh new look for everyone's toons! If you would like to get your toon's new facelift updated to our picture gallery, give me a /tell in game, or let me know on the forums, as many have already been updated!
